PUBLIC NOTICE-SURPLUS PROPERTY OFFERING

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Delta City will receive bids for surplus property at the former Deseret Industries building located at approximately 50 North Street and 100 West Street across from the Delta City Park. Any and all removable fixtures within the structure and all outlying buildings on the property are subject to sale. We will accept sealed bids through March 1, 2018 by 6:00 p.m. Delta City will open the building on Tueday, February 20, 2018 from 2:00-6:00 p.m., to allow potential bidders the opportunity to walk through to view items of interest. Items will be bid upon separately and will be sold to the highest bidder. Bids received will be opened and awarded on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., and successful bidders will have until Thursday, March 15, 2018 to remove their items purchased. Should you have any additional questions, please contact Delta City at 435.864.2759. Please be advised that Delta City reserves the right to reject any and all bids; and that items are sold “as is” and are final.

COUNCIL ORDINANCE NUMBER 18-278 PASSED

COUNCIL ORDINANCE NUMBER 18-277 PASSED

The City Council of the City of Delta, Utah passed an ordinance amending Title 12, Planning and Zoning, of the Revised Ordinances of Delta City (1981 Edition), to make corrections to numbering and other non-substantive corrections, to include subdivision provisions, to include redevelopment area, and include lot line adjustments. COUNCIL RESOLUTION NUMBER 18-420 PASSED

COUNCIL RESOLUTION NUMBER 18-419 PASSED

A Resolution of the Council of the City of Delta, State of Utah, appointing an Emergency Management Director was passed at their February 15, 2018 meeting. You may view the document via this link.

NEXT COUNCIL MEETING

There will be no regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, March 1, 2018. The next meeting will date will be noticed soon. The meetings are held at the Delta City Municipal Complex Council Chambers. All are encouraged to attend.

SNOW REMOVAL RESTRICTIONS CURRENTLY IN FORCE

Delta City Municipal Code §11-346: Parking Prohibited. In order to facilitate the removal of snow on public streets located within Delta City, no person who owns or has possession, custody, or control of any vehicle or trailer shall park such vehicle or trailer upon on any street or alley that is bordered by curb or gutter located within Delta City between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. from November 1 of each year to March 31 of the following year.
